Junior KYC/Compliance Specialist

Genome is a fully digital financial platform that delivers everything users expect from traditional banking, faster, safer, and online. We are a Lithuania-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, serving both businesses and individuals, primarily across the EU and beyond.

Our platform offers a wide range of services, including dedicated IBAN accounts, payment processing, currency exchange, and local and international transfers (SEPA and SWIFT). Clients can manage their finances through a smart, intuitive dashboard available on desktops and mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Genome is looking for a Junior KYC/Compliance Specialist!

• Evaluate applications from individual clients, performing standard Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures to ensure seamless and secure onboarding.
• Reach out directly to clients to request missing information or clarify documents, verifying the details and recording everything accurately in our systems.
• Independently collect, assess, and organize the necessary documents and data required to keep client profiles fully updated and compliant.
• Take ownership of your daily tasks, ensuring they meet Genome’s high-quality standards and efficiency benchmarks.
• Stay adaptable and up-to-date with our evolving working procedures, actively participating in mandatory compliance training and self-directed learning to grow your expertise in AML and KYC.

• You already have some initial work experience or internships in AML, KYC, or Transaction Monitoring.
• You have a basic understanding of AML legislation and a genuine interest in financial crime prevention.
• You are fluent in both Lithuanian and English (both spoken and written), with the ability to communicate professionally with our clients.
• You like solving problems, staying organized, and keeping up with new procedures.

• We offer flexible working hours (you can start your day between 7.00 - 10.00 and finish it accordingly).
• After a successful probation period we offer 6 days from home per month and you may use these days in any way that best suits your needs throughout the month.

Compensation

Salary range: €1,445 - €2,145 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
