Head of QA

Genome is everything users need from the traditional banks, but safer, faster and completely online.

We are a Lithuanian-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania.

Genome is a B2B/B2C EU-oriented company, which offers personal, business, and merchant account opening, payment processing, money exchange, internal, SEPA, and SWIFT transfers, as well as other banking operations completely online. Clients can manage all their funds and accounts within our smart dashboard, which is in a desktop version, or through an app on Android and iOS.

Genome is looking for an Head of QA (Quality Assurance) !

• developing quality assurance procedures;
• participate in releases planning;
• coordinate with product team priorities of releases testing;
• make an estimate of release time and give timely feedback of possible delays;
• develop processes and approaches for increasing automation of testing;
• participation in Roadmap planning and assessment;
• manual and automation tests coverage of the platforms;
• creating a test plan;
• creation of test cases;
• passing test cases;
• using the plan to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems;
• using the plan to hunt down software bugs;
• guarding against incorrect language usage, truncated text and incorrect formatting;
• stay up-to-date with new technology trends;
• overall responsibility for the direction, performance and maintenance of the QA team activities.
• define, guide and monitor the QA team’s performance according to the set individual and team's goals
• recruit, build and develop an excellence of the QA team.

• 3+ years of experience in testing ( financial product) ;
• 1+ year in the managerial role;
• knowledge of JSON, HTML/CSS;
• hands-on experience with Rest API testing;
• familiar with Jira, Confluence;
• strong knowledge of the theory of testing;
• expertise in reviewing requirements;
• experience in writing test documentation;
• professional in English;
• excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
