Head of Treasury

We are a Lithuanian-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania.

Genome is a B2B/B2C EU-oriented company, which offers personal, business, and merchant account opening, payment processing, money exchange, internal, SEPA, and SWIFT transfers, as well as other banking operations completely online. Clients can manage all their funds and accounts within our smart dashboard, which is in a desktop version, or through an app on Android and iOS.

Genome is looking for a Head of Treasury !

• participation in liquidity, currency position and segregation of funds management;
• oversight over OPEX and CAPEX payments and making decisions on methods and sources of payments;
• payment checks against necessary approvals and budgets;
• making payments in internal system (participant of a 4 eyes approach in payments);
• creating or confirming system operations (participant of a 4 eyes approach in payments);
• interaction with other services of the company to work with the system and improve its functionality (on the back-end system side);
• testing the system operation on the user/customer side;
• participation at the development and improvement of the system functionality (both back-end and front-end);
• oversight over development and improvement of reporting functionality (bank statements, back-end and front-end);
• checking the correctness of the formation of transactions and general ledger entries, as well as for correctness of  transaction report;
• reconciliation of balances between emission centers and dedicated system wallets;
• preparation of monthly management financial reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or math-related field;
• 5+ years professional experience in the treasury field (both operational and strategic), ideally a focus on financial sector;
• experience in leading and collaborating with international teams and intercultural awareness;
• strong communication skills, assertiveness, and leadership qualities;
• fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are required; additional language skills are desirable.

Compensation

Salary range: €5,280 - €5,620 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
