Head of Treasury

Genome is a fully digital financial platform that delivers everything users expect from traditional banking, faster, safer, and online. We are a Lithuania-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, serving both businesses and individuals, primarily across the EU and beyond.

Our platform offers a wide range of services, including dedicated IBAN accounts, payment processing, currency exchange, and local and international transfers (SEPA and SWIFT). Clients can manage their finances through a smart, intuitive dashboard available on desktops, as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Genome is looking for a Head of Treasury!

• Manage liquidity, currency positions, client fund safeguarding and segregation, including liquidity limits and intraday controls.
• Oversee OPEX/CAPEX payments and treasury operations, ensuring appropriate approvals, controls and four-eyes processes.
• Manage the placement of free funds in line with the Investment Policy, including limits and counterparties.
• Own relationships with banks, payment and placement providers, including onboarding, accounts, access and signature rights.
• Ensure accurate regulatory reporting, reconciliations and treasury controls, and support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Lead treasury management reporting, planning and budgeting, providing regular updates to the CFO.
• Drive improvements in treasury systems, reporting, automation and AI-enabled processes in cooperation with other teams.
• Build and lead the Treasury team, ensuring effective delegation, process documentation and business continuity.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a math-related field.
• 5+ years in treasury, operational and strategic in an electronic money institution, payment institution or bank.
• Hands-on experience with E-Money-series regulatory reporting to a financial supervisor.
• Practical knowledge of safeguarding and segregation requirements for client funds.
• Experience owning relationships with banks and payment providers, including account opening and maintenance.
• Experience leading and collaborating with international teams, with strong intercultural awareness.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Compensation

Salary starts from €5300 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
