There are two ways to send batch payments via Genome
Upload payment file
The main way to send batch payments with Genome is by uploading or creating a payment file in CSV or XML format. Use ready-made examples to prepare the file correctly and process multiple transfers in one batch.
Automate via API

A batch transfer is a simple, file-based payments method that allows you to process multiple payments at the same time. Instead of making individual manual transfers, you just upload a single file, and the system executes all your mass payments at once. It is ideal for paying multiple contractors, suppliers, or employees efficiently.
Can I use batch transfers for payroll?
Absolutely. Batch transfers are the most efficient way to handle mass salary payouts. You can send wages or regular payments to your entire team by uploading one file, keeping your bulk payroll payments fast, organized, and error-free.
How many payments can I send in one bulk payout?
With Genome, you can include up to 3000 individual transactions in a single batch file. There are no limits on the total amount of money sent, provided you have sufficient funds in your dedicated IBAN business account.
What file format do I need to upload?
To execute bulk payouts, you simply need to upload multiple payments via a standard CSV or XML file containing your recipients' details. We provide ready-made examples in your dashboard so you can format your file correctly and complete your batch transfers with ease.
How long do mass payments take to process?
The processing time depends on the transfer type, but processing a batch file is just as fast as sending a single payment. If you use SEPA Instant Transfers, your recipients will receive the funds within seconds. Standard SEPA Credit Transfers typically arrive within 4 hours or the next business day.
