Why do we have account limits

To keep the platform fraudulent-free and make your account and money safe, Genome has different limits set upon the amount of money a client can send and receive during a certain period of time. The account levels for the incoming and outgoing transfers can be changed for your personal wallet anytime.

Look up your transfer limits anytime

The information about your limits for incoming and outgoing payments is always available via Genome dashboard. Just go to the settings and choose the "limits" tab. There you will see the data on transfer limits and will be able to change them.

Your starting transfer limit

Once you start using Genome’s personal wallet, you have a 1000 EUR limit on the incoming and 1000 EUR on the outgoing payments. When you reach 70% of your starting limit, you will see a notification on your dashboard suggesting you fill in a questionnaire to raise your limits. Thus, you will know in advance when it’s time to raise your transfer limit, which you can do easily, at any moment!

How to increase your transfer limits

Genome has several transfer limit levels. You move up a level every time you increase the total amount of money you can get and transfer. To change the transfer limit, you need to fill in a short questionnaire and, in some cases, upload documents to verify this information.

How long will it take?

Filling in the questionnaire usually can be done within minutes and the request for a limit increase usually takes up to a few days. All the available limits are stated in your account settings. Contact the support team via chat if you face issues, or want to discuss the possibility to approve higher limits.
