High-risk pricing applies when a business operates in a high-risk industry or is registered in a high-risk country.
High-risk industries include: affiliate marketing, betting/gambling (licensed and regulated), brokers and agents (non-real estate), direct marketing, electronic money institutions (EMI), holding companies/investments industry services, lead generation, lotteries (regulated and licensed in the EU), skill games and games of chance (regulated and licensed in the EU), software as a service, subscription services, telemarketing, and traditional dating services.
High-risk countries include: Costa Rica, Curaçao, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Ukraine, and United Arab Emirates.
If either the industry or the country is classified as high risk, high-risk pricing will apply.
The final risk level is determined by the Genome team following due diligence and compliance checks.
