High-risk pricing applies when a business operates in a high-risk industry or is registered in a high-risk country.
High-risk industries include: affiliate marketing, betting/gambling (licensed and regulated), brokers and agents (non-real estate), direct marketing, electronic money institutions (EMI), holding companies/investments industry services, lead generation, lotteries (regulated and licensed in the EU), payment service provider (PSP), skill games and games of chance (regulated and licensed in the EU), software as a service, subscription services, telemarketing, trading of stocks, indices, raw materials, currency (e.g., Forex), investment, or other services on Forex markets and other electronic currency trading systems (regulated and licensed in the EU/EEA and Seychelles), and traditional dating services.
High-risk countries include: Costa Rica, Curaçao, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Ukraine, and United Arab Emirates.
If either the industry or the country is classified as high risk, high-risk pricing will apply.
The final risk level is determined by the Genome team following due diligence and compliance checks.
