Senior Risk Analyst

Genome is a B2B/B2C EU-oriented company, which offers personal, business, and merchant account opening, payment processing, money exchange, internal, SEPA, and SWIFT transfers, as well as other banking operations completely online. Clients can manage all their funds and accounts within our smart dashboard, which is in a desktop version, or through an app on Android and iOS.

Genome is looking for an Senior Risk Analyst !

• Design, maintain, and improve the integrity of our automated monitoring systems. You will ensure all risk logic—from business relationship onboarding to risk rating calculations—is consistent, compliant and adaptable to changing regulations.
• Create and refine AML/CTF rules and scenarios. Your goal is to maximize detection accuracy while minimizing "false positives" through rigorous testing and technological integration.
• Analyze massive data streams to evaluate the effectiveness of current scenarios. You will identify emerging trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between AML Compliance units, IT and Product teams. You’ll also work with third-party providers to integrate external monitoring tools seamlessly into our internal processes.
• Build visual dashboards to keep management informed and provide hands-on training to internal teams on risk logic application.

• University degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Data Science or Law).
• Proven practical experience in Risk Management and AML/CTF, specifically maintaining and tuning automated monitoring systems.
• Practical proficiency in SQL, Python or other data analysis tools.
• Experience working with large data sets to build reports and interactive dashboards.
• Proven ability to create, test and validate complex logic rules.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail. You should be a proactive collaborator capable of translating technical needs to non-technical stakeholders.
• A focus on continuous improvement and the ability to think strategically about risk in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Salary range : €2, 700 - €3, 500 gross monthly*
