AML/Compliance Specialist (fixed–term contract)

We are a Lithuania-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, serving both businesses and individuals, primarily across the EU and beyond.

Our platform offers a wide range of services, including dedicated IBAN accounts, payment processing, currency exchange, and local and international transfers (SEPA and SWIFT). Clients can manage their finances through a smart, intuitive dashboard available on desktops, as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Genome is looking for an AML/Compliance Specialist (fixed–term contract)!

• Retrospective review and assessment of client transactions (Transaction Monitoring)
• Communication with clients for additional information and/or submission of documents, verification and assessment of provided information and documents, recording in systems.
• Independent collection, evaluation, and recording of documents and data required for proper ongoing due diligence and assessment of clients’ operations.
• Conducting internal client activity investigations, systematic documentation, writing conclusions and recommendations.
• Reporting of suspicious financial transactions/client activities (STRs/SARs) to the local FIU.
• Communication with law enforcement, other institutions, sending official correspondence.

Note: This position is offered as a 12-months fixed-term contract initially. The role may become permanent in the future, depending on business needs and performance.

• 2+ years of experience in Transaction Monitoring & Screening.
• Solid foundational knowledge of financial crimes, including Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Fraud, and Sanctions Evasion.
• Basic knowledge of AML legislation relevant to Lithuanian FMPs.
• Fluent in spoken Lithuanian and English. Proficiency in formal written Lithuanian and English
• Possession of training and competency certificates (ACAMS, ICA, etc.) is considered an advantage.

Compensation

Salary range : €2, 300 - €2, 650 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
