Genome is a B2B/B2C EU-oriented company, which offers personal, business, and merchant account opening, payment processing, money exchange, internal, SEPA, and SWIFT transfers, as well as other banking operations completely online. Clients can manage all their funds and accounts within our smart dashboard, which is in a desktop version, or through an app on Android and iOS.

Genome is looking for Chief Risk Officer !

Chief Risk Officer is a second line Officer, function of internal control, reporting directly to the Board.

• develops, installs and maintains reliable risk management framework, which could fit international standards as well as requirements of Bank of Lithuania;
• assures that the company adequately identifies, measures, monitors and controls financial risks, operational, compliance, strategic and reputational risks.
• in cooperation with other departments, participates and concludes all necessary risk management documentation;
• participates in developing and updating internal risk policies and procedures, setting risk based approach to all company’s risk related processes;
• monitors, collects information, registers, analyzes and provides suggestions, conclusions regarding the company’s risk events;
• develops partner risk evaluation systems, proposes limits and exceptions to them, submits them for approval to the Board;
• periodically assess risk management system effectiveness and makes suggestions for the updates, improvements and implementation of effective risk management frameworks and measures;
• follows up and controls the implementation of risk treatment plans and risk management system improvements plans;
• participates in investigations of the most significant risk incidents of the institution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field;
• 5+ years experience with risk management and/or compliance within the financial industry or similar regulatory experience;
• knowledge and experience with laws and regulations governing payment services and financial institutions, regulatory practices, international standards;
• knowledge of regulatory, international standards, requirements of Bank of Lithuania;
• leadership ability with excellent interpersonal communication skills;
• ability to communicate effectively in all areas;
• excellent judgment, decision-making and problem solving skills;
• strong analytical, evaluative and objective critical thinking skills, the ability to analyze, summarize data;
• fluent Lithuanian and English (spoken and written).

Compensation

Salary range: €5,785 - €6,612 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience.
