Financial Controller

Genome is a B2B/B2C EU-oriented company, which offers personal, business, and merchant account opening, payment processing, money exchange, internal, SEPA, and SWIFT transfers, as well as other banking operations completely online. Clients can manage all their funds and accounts within our smart dashboard, which is in a desktop version, or through an app on Android and iOS.

Genome is looking for Financial Controller to perform daily activities in relation with Finance & Accounting agenda. Responsibilities include implementing new procedures and streamlining existing procedures as necessary, as well as ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

• running the process of monthly forecasting within all key business departments;
• monitoring of day-to-day financial operations of business units;
• coordination of a budgeting process, consolidation of the budget;
• racking of performance against the budget and operational plans;
• risk assessment by using risk maps;
• support in development of internal finance software, including communication with process owners and business users in terms of financial processes automation;
• communications with internal departments;
• preparation and delivery of management reporting to stakeholders;
• support of timeliness and consistency of related data in controlling databases;
• communication with external partners and international auditors;
• support of international audit and preparation of monthly compliance report.

• Bachalor's or Master degree in Economics, Accounting or another related field;
• financial experience at international company;
• 1-2 years or similar exposure to int. audit at audit company;
• basic user T-SQL, advanced Excel user;
• advanced knowledge and experience in accounting and financial analysis;
• strong communication skills;
• Upper-Intermediate English skills or above (speaking and writing).

Compensation

Salary range: €2,975 - €4,132 gross monthly*

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
